Louisiana
I know I mentioned but I don’t know if you realize I am a southern kitty from south Louisiana. Born and raised here just as my Mom is. I haven’t been many place, but Mom has been to many different parts of southern Louisiana. I thought I might share a few photos of a few areas of Louisiana.

These are all photos taken by Mom during a fishing trip. She only caught two fish and an eel. Her fishing partner caught nothing. Not a good haul that day, but she did get to get these photos.

Winter, your Mom got some nice shots on her fishing trip……my Mom has never been to Louisiana but she has an old writing friend who used to live in Houma and now lives in Thibodeau. That alligator looked just a bit too interested in your Mom’s camera if you ask me!!! HAHAHA

Thank you! I haven’t been but Mom has been both to Houma and Thibideaux. I have only been in Lafayette where I was born and now here. Mom said the alligator was just swimming along and they called him to get him close enough for a good shot. Mom had that photo made into an 8X10. It came out lovely.

Yep I am sure they could. MOL Mom knows where the CDs are but she has like 10 of them and has to go through them to find them. Haha

We have Alligators which are simular to crocodiles. Not by my house though. I don’t live next to the water. The water is far enough away for it to not be a concern. 🙂

I sure miss Cat Scouts I wonder when the hooligans will be captured and we will be allowed back to the camp.

No this was a trip Mom took before she got me. Her guy roommate likes to fish so we get it fairly regularly. I miss cat scouts too. Hope it comes back soon.

Wow what great pictures! I have never seen an eel or a gator in person before. Gotta tell ya Winter, that gator pic gave me a shiver MOL, mommy was sure brave being that close! Love Ya’s Bunches!
